What happen if a F1 student skip a semester?
but he/she will still stay in USA,then will be back to school again in the after coming semester.|||You're breaking the law|||Well I know students who had to get married, spend some time with their partners, and in order to do that, they had taken a sem off. But that as done with the advisor's consent and university's approval. I think some of them did their thesis/research during that time and took credits for that.
I don't think u will be breaking the law. But talk with the university people first and then proceed. And do not change ur visa status.
