How do you use the F1 F2 F3 etc without holding your fn key?

My keyboard requires me to hold down the Fn key to use the F1, F2, F3 and so on. The game I currently play alot, requires the use of the F keys all the time. If I don't hold down the Fn key, all the F keys do is change my screen brightness or volume.


So, is there a way to use the F keys without having to hold down the Fn key?|||On a Mac





In Keyboard preferences, check the box "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as


standard function keys".





1. Click your desktop to bring the Finder to the front.


2. Click the Help menu, and type "function keys".


3. Click "Using keyboard function keys".


4. Follow the instructions.
