I recently found out that the F5 key is used to Renew or Reset the current webpage you are looking at, but what about the rest of the F1 to F12 keys?|||They can do alot, it just depends on the program running. For the Firefox and Internet Explorer
F1 is Help
F2 Nothing
F3 Search
F4 Nothing
F5 Refresh
F6 Highlights Address Bar
F7 Turns on Caret Browsing
F8 Nothing
F9 Nothing
F10 Highlights the "File" Menu
F11 Fullscreen Mode
F12 Nothing
The keys can do many many things, they can be used to acess the BIOS/CMOS, view the boot menu, and a large variety of things.
As aforementioned if just depends on what program you are running. The best way to find out is to just press them and see what happens!|||Hihi, this depends a lot on the application you are running. It seems you are running Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Shortcuts in IE are here:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/223e800a-c5a3-435c-aa65-0c3710cf0d4f1033.mspx
Firefox shortcuts are here http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Keyboard+shortcuts
Similarly, google for other apps. Some allow you to change the function key shortcuts, others don't.
Lastly, have a look at your keyboard. Most keyboards allow you to set operating system shortcuts. Google for your keyboard brand/model + shortcuts.
