If a F1 Visa holder marries a US Citizen, the become a conditional Lawful Permanent Resident?

If they become a Cond. LPR, shouldn't they just file a I-751 to remove the conditional status?

The I-485 Adjust of Status seems more appropriate for a F1 Student who isn't married to a US Citizen.|||The last part of your question is confusing. Anyway, in the scenario you're describing, we're talking about an F1 that marries a US citizen right? I-485 is what needs to be filed in order to adjust from F1 to conditional PR while I-751 is what needs to be filed to remove the conditions.|||dont really see what you are trying to say

They do file a I-751 after 2 years to remove the conditions

F-1 cannot adjust status ..its a Non immirant visa
