How to find the F1 generation of this cross?

Hey guys. I have a basic cross of GGRr x ggrr, how would i find the F1 generation of this? What would the genotypes be if I have to self pollinate them?|||It's always useful to make punnett squares. do one for each genotype.

So one GG X gg %26amp; another Rr X rr

you'll get:

1) 100% Gg (1)

2) 50% Rr (1/2) , 50% rr (1/2)

so, you're F1 generation can be either Gg/Rr or Gg/rr

To find the % chance of that, you multiply (because it's Gg AND Rr(or rr) )

So,

1) 100%(Gg) * 50%(Rr) = 50% or 1/2 chance of F1 generation would be Gg/Rr

2) 100%(Gg) * 50%(rr) = 50% or 1/2 chance of F1 generation would be Gg/rr
