I know that in the US foreign student in public high schools are limited to 12 months of study but what about college and university? Can an F1 visa student study in a public college or university for over 1 yr?
Thanks|||Yes, you can stay until you graduate. After you graduate you have 3 months to leave. If you choose to get a master's degree, you can stay longer.
