What track should host the next American F1 round?

With American teams entering F1 hopefully (assuming everything doesn't go pear shaped) we will have another round contested in the US. What track would you like to see them race at? I really don't want them to return to Indianapolis or that car park in Vegas. Maybe long beach.|||Speaking with US drivers, they all told me that Watkins Glen is the most beautiful circuit in North America from a driver's standpoint. But it's kind of in the middle of nowhere and it's not ready to host a F1 event. Laguna Seca is in another continent (California) but the track is more F1 ready, and although it could resemble the North American Bahrain version in a desert surrounding, it could work. Indy I don't like and I don't like the atmosphere in the Mid West. I am not fond of street circuits, therefore Long Beach, Las Vegas or like in the past Detroit or Dallas are out of the question. People want to find other attractions around the tracks so given the population, the resources, the attractions and the accessibility, Florida should be the place to have a F1 race. But there is no valid infrastructure: Daytona compares to Indy. Sebring is not up to standards and a city race in Miami could work real well, but in that case it could work in New York City or anywhere else. I would like some modifications at the Daytona Int'l Speedway. Hey, I'm only half an hour from there. It would benefit me a big deal! Just a selfish thought! Laguna Seca seems to me the best option right now.|||Road America would be my #1 choice. Long beautiful track with lots of places for passing. People say RA's problem is that it does not have the infrastructure to hold an F1 race. If F1 shows interest in RA I am sure money could be raised to improve some things.

|||Personally I'd like to see a thoroughly revamped Long Beach or Watkins Glen. Sadly the Glen is more infamous for the loss of Francois Cervert and Helmuth Koinigg than the GP racing. Long Beach seemed to produce some classic races but would it pass modern FIA safety red tape without mega improvement, I don't know.|||It would be awesome to see an American team, a good American driver, a US Grand Prix, and some American interest in the sport. I am lucky enough to attend a half dozen or so Nascar races each year but I have never been to an F1 race and it's at the top of my list of things to do. I never cared a lot for the Indy infield track. I would choose Watkins Glen or Laguna. But anywhere would be welcomed by me.|||Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca or Long Beach would be great but it would cost a fortune to bring them up to FIA standards, which leaves Indianapolis, and I'm with you I don't like F1 at Indy, the infield track just doesn't do it for me.

As for the Vegas car park, that has to be one of F1's worst decisions!|||How awesome would it be to see how F1 teams and drivers tackled the corkscrew at Laguna Seca :O

They'd just take it out though wouldn't they :(|||A street race at night in New York City...

Imagine the cars going through times square at night... Now that would bring the house down...

We could just peek through our windows and see the Race. Glorious.
