Pls help me when i start my computer it shows a msg that No IDE HDD detected press F1 to continue?

what the problem will be. after pressing F1 key my computer starts %26amp; it is also not showing windows task maneger after pressing ctrl+alt+del. pls help me|||HMMM DO LIKE THIS. SHUT DOWN UR PC OPEN UR CABINET WINDOW AND UNPLUG THE CABLES OF HARD DISK(HDD) THEN AGIN PLUG THEM NICELY. MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CABLES ARE TIGHTLY FITTED IN MOTHER BOARD AND HARD DISK. THEN AGAIN OPEN UR SYATEM AND GO TO CMOS SETTING AND LOOK IN DEVICE CONFIG. IF IT SHOWS UR HARD DISK THEN ITS FINE THEN AGIN DO THE ABOVE STEPS............|||check you cables conencting your hard drive to the motherbaord, check you bios and hope that fixes it,
