F1........?

I have heard that Shuie might return to drive for Ferrari next year. I f the rumors are true (i think ferrari realise that they need him to get back to winning ways) do you think he wil now be scared off by Lewis Hamilton? He has a lot to lose %26amp; not a lot to gain - but he could easily lose his greatest driver ever crown to this lad?? What do you think??

It would do wonders for F1 to have such a battle me thinks!|||No he has had his day...can see Hamilton driving for Ferrari though...Shumie will take over from whats his name who I can't remember at the moment, but who runs the tactics of the team....|||Cant see Michael coming back as a driver. It would be like watching one the Mohamed Ali come backs pathetic. Hope he stays in retirement forever.|||D'you know what... the way things are going, Alonso may come to Ferrari- since he claims of recieveing "unpreferential" treatment at McLaren. And- Alonso may give Ferrari the kick up the back they need to get going again!

Schuey will not work- He's a past champion and I think he has "used up" all his talent. He won't give the inspiration that a young championship winner would.|||I dont see him coming back next year.

Whoever told you that is stringing you a line I think.|||I really don't think Shuie will come back, he retired. He's a race consultant for Ferrari now anyway, besides lets face it, the guy has enough money, he'd never have to work again! And besides, like you said he'd have a lot to loose if he did!

Besides, with the new season there will probably be new drivers, and who knows, there might be another gooden!!

And as much as I loved shuie, he's dominated the field for too long! Hell, I remember Damon Hill and shuie battling for the championship title!! I think it's time to move on from him and look to up and coming drivers, besides, its about time us British had a good british driver to support!!|||I dont feel its the drivers that are letting ferrari down its the actual car. So even if the Greatest Driver Ever was to return the car would need to be up to scratch. I think it would be a mistake for him to return because as you pointed out there is more for him to lose than gain. It would be a good spectacle, however i feel it would be best saved for a charity exhibition race of some sort.|||Schumacher wont come back.

Echoes of Mansell pouring his fat backside into the '95 McLaren??

Schumi is smart enough to see a new era, this is the Alonso time. I'm sure he would rather see it from the pitlane and know exactly how he would go down the inside of him into a corner!

Besides, if he feels the need to go racing, do you think he hasn't got Maranello at his lifetime disposal??|||in all honesty i really can't see Schumi racing again. there were rumours that Mica was going to return to race for McLaren too after he tested for them, but he is quite happy driving a DTM. if Michael were to return he would not be phased by our Lewis. it would be a sight to see, but very improbable.|||Schumi won't be back, as a driver. He knows he's reached the top and I presonally feel that it's best to retire when you're on top. and that's just what he did. If he didi return I don't think he'd be intimidated by hamilton. besides, Schumi doesn't have to prove he's greater than Hamilton. He's already done his best and that's all that matters

AS for Kimi, you can't entirely put the blame on him for not driving well. It's the tyres he's got some issues with them. When he was at his former team which kept producing broken cars, he still drove them superbly and managed to make the most out of them.
