Hi,
I am a US citizen just married an international student. She carries a F1 visa. What forms or process do I need to do in order for her to obtain a green card and become a permanent resident? Do I just file I-130 form? How long is the process to complete from now until she gets her status from international student changed to permanent resident?
Thanks for your inputs!|||You must file I-130, I-864, your G-352a and she files I-485, her G-352, I-693, I-764 and I-131 altogether. Once your wife gets the Receipt notice of I-485, her status will be Pending AOS status. However, it is better to maintain F1 status until the green card. It could take from 6 months to 12 months until she gets green card. Congrats and good luck with everything.

If you do it all right, she can be approved in 4-6 months.
