I want to book a ticket for the Indianapolis F1 race next weekend. Any suggesstions which stand should I go for? Which one gives the best view. I also have to consider the prices :). For me I need to choose between the Penthouse grand stand, A/B grand stand or the Tower terrace.
Also, I want to know from which stand can you see the podium.|||I have been to every USGP, and none of those locales is the ideal spot for the race. Unfortunately, Indy has many crappy seats and very few good ones, and the good ones are reserved early, I can assure you. My suggestion would be to go without a ticket and buy from another fan, as their are always tickets available, and not just from scalpers. Unless you need to buy a bunch all together, I would just walk around outside the NW gates on Fri. and Sat. and you will find tickets. That's what I have done since year two, and it has worked great. The best seats are stands H,J, and the turn 6 grandstands. You can see the podium from A,B, paddock, or C, but bring Binocs.|||r u sure u wil get tickets??|||The fact that you seem confident of getting a ticket less than a week before the race shows us all what Mr Ecclestone should do with the USGP...everywhere else is sold out months in advance.
To actually answer your question, the end of the start/finish straight is the only place you're going to see stuff this weekend.|||Tony's bar %26amp; grill...
